Yes, because it is used for making many idols,copper is also a good conducter of electricity, it is used as fuse also.

No actually .... because higher reactivity of copper can make it more sensitive towards chemical nature....... copper material can not be used in house hold purposes and there would be problem for industrial uses also because copper being highly reactive metal would react rapidly with every chemical substance like air , water or it may be dangerous to use without proper precautions as like sodium and potassium metals
