Answer

 \frac{5}{7}

Step

Probability is defined as the chances of getting the results and how they will occur.

they will occur.For example, In a coin, there is only ahead and tail so having the probability of a head is

ahead and tail so having the probability of a head is  \frac{1}{2}

ahead and tail so having the probability of a head is \frac{1}{2} Similarly, there are 3 white, 2 yellow, and 2 purple balls. The total is 3+2+2 = 7.

ahead and tail so having the probability of a head is \frac{1}{2} Similarly, there are 3 white, 2 yellow, and 2 purple balls. The total is 3+2+2 = 7.Not yellow = 3 White + 2 Purple balls; Not yellow = 5.

Probability of Not Yellow =

  probability= \frac{not \: yellow}{total}  =  \frac{5}{7}
