If the people of a country only want their rights and do not want to do those duties, the following things may occur:

  • If people do not perform their duties, they will not get any rights to enjoy.
  • Fundamental duties are mandatory because they remind citizens of their work towards their society, fellow citizens and the nation.
  • They also warn citizens against anti-national and anti-social activities.
  • It also inspires citizens and promotes a sense of discipline and commitment. People will suffer from many problems living in society if none of the duties is followed.
  • Thus, abiding by the fundamental duties would lead to the common good of all.
  • Man is a social animal who cannot ignore their duties.
  • People will definitely have to perform their duties.
  • If people want to enjoy the right to freedom, education, and healthy living, they need to abide by the law and order of the country and act as good citizens.
