gravitational acceleration = GM/R^2
where M = mass of planet
R = radius of planet
here mass is constant so g proposnal 1/r^2
g1/g2 = r2^2/r1^2
here, r2 = 2r1
g1/g2 = 4
g2 = g1/4
weight = mg
now g' = g/4
so, our weight will be reduced by factor 1/4
