Suppose that you have 2 CPUs . One of them has 1 VGA sockets while the other has 2 . You have only one monitor but two VGA cables . So you have connected your monitor with one of the slots of the better CPU . Now , what will happen if you connect both the CPUs with the other VGA cable ?
