suppose the body runs a distance of 100m in 50 seconds in going from his home to the shop in the east direction and then runs a distance of 100m again in 50 seconds in the revers direction from the shop to reach back home from where he started. find the speed of body and velocity?​

Time taken = 50s

As, Speed = Distance / Time

So, Speed of the body = 100/50

=> 2m/s

As, The body returns to the same point(I.e. From home to shop and then from shop to home)

So, Displacement = 0 m

Hence, Velocity = Displacement/time => 0/50 => 0m/s
