suppose the lining of trachea in our body was composed of squamous epithelial cells instead of ciliated epithelium how could it affect the respiratory system explain ​

Answer:

The ciliated epithelium prevents viruses and bacterias from entering the lungs and if it was replaced by squamous epithelium then we can get infected very easily by those pathogens.
