Suppose the lower half of the concave mirror's reflecting surface is covered with an opaque (non reflective) material. What effect this will have on the image of the object? Explain

I am not sure of the image size but the brightness of the image will be decreased definitely

Hey !!

The image would be sharp only intensity gets reduced due to block of lower half rays. If the situation, rays of light coming from the object will be reflected by the upper half of the mirror. These rays meet at the other side of the mirror to form the image of the given object.
