If moon had its own light then it wouldn't have phases. It would be wholely visible like the sun. The moon has phases because the sun lights up only a part of it making it visible. Thus if the moon had its own light it would not have phases

Answer: No

Explanation:

.

If moon emits light of its own there will be no phrase. Moon doesn't have its own light, it reflects from the sun, if moon emits light of its own there will be no shadows and therefore no phrase.
