Earth and every other celestial body has a tendency to attract objects towards it center with a force called gravitational force and tgis force exerts an acceleration on that particular object . So, the object will not reach the other end as the acceleration due to gravity becomes zero at the center of the earth an hence, it will remain stuck at its center.

The thing will never reach to the other side , as the tempreture inside the earth is very high.
Even the gravity of the earth is towards its centre , so the thing will go to the centre and stop there if it will not melt.
