Suppose two adjacent angles are supplementary. Show that if one of them is an obtuse angle, then the other angle must be acute.​

◆ Proof with explanation -

Let A & B be two supplementary angles.

A + B = 180°

A = 180° - B

B = 180°-A

Suppose A is obtuse angle. i.e. A > 90°.

B < 180°-90°

B < 90°

Therefore, we can say that other angle must be acute.
