The expected number of outcomes 1 in these throws is 1/6

When a dice thrown 4 time the outcome we get each time is

S={1,2,3,4,5,6}

n(S) = 4 x 6 = 24

Let A be event getting number 1

A = {1,1,1,1}

n(A) = 4

Therefore, Probability of getting number 1 is

= n(A) / n(s)

= 4 / 24

= 1 / 6
