Hey frnd here is ur answer.

Let s={1,2,3,4,5,6}

n(s)=6.

Let A be the event of getting a number greater than 3.

A={4,5,6}
n(A)=3

p(A)=n(A)/n(S)
=3/6
=1/2
=0.5

hope it helps u:-)
