Subject: Careless attitude of people during the Covid 19 pandemic
Dear Sir:
The situation in the entire world is quite critical; as many as 115,269 people have been reported dead with this virus across the world. Total number of infected patients is 1,866,654; 434,054 infected people have recovered. The disease is spreading to other countries. Situation in Iran and Italy is also very critical.
In India to 9,240 people have been reported infected with this virus. Fifty-six people have died. Indian Government has taken many preventive measures. All schools, colleges, universities, cinemas, etc. have been closed till March April 30, 2020.
It is very sad that in our country many people are taking it lightly. In spite of the lockdown they are coming out in groups. Whenever people do this, they become exposed to the possibility of being infected with it.
Through the medium of your newspaper I appeal to the people to stay indoors and help the Government tackle this situation.
