Hello, I am the elected representative of a constituency. I was elected by my State Legislative Assembly to the Rajya Sabha. As a member of the Rajya Sabha, I have to:

  • bring concerns of my area to the Parliament's notice
  • look into the issues faced by people
  • find the best solution that removes any suspicious doubtŝ from the Opposition

Therefore, as a member of the Rajya Sabha, these are the actions I will perform to improve the basic condition in my area:

Problem #1: Insufficient water supply

It is a major concern. But it shall be resolved by adopting better irrigation methods like drip irrigation, digging wells, and planting more trees to replenish underground water.

Problem #2: Plastic

Plastic contributes to a lot of garbage, blocked drains, and water pollution. We don't want those problems in the area. So, plastic will not be brought in the area nor dumped but only reused or recycled.

Problem #3: Hunger

There will be set up NGOs and charities to raise funds for a communal meal. This would ensure that people's Right to Life is protected by not letting anyone die of hunger.

Problem #4: Transportation

It will be tried best to improve the infrastructure and roads in rural areas to make transportation easier in times of emergency.

Problem #5: Wastage of resources

To avoid wasting renewable resources for power and electricity, solar powered traffic lights and community lighting shall be set up. The money saved by using solar panels could be donated to the NGOs or orphanages.
