Sikkim Report

1. Sikkim is situated at high altitude. All year round it is mostly cool and cold but in winters there in snowfall in many areas.
2. Sikkim is a very diverse state with many religions. Most prominent religions are Hinduism and Vajrayan Buddhism. In north it mostly concentrated with buddhism and the concentration becomes a little low when we come towards the south Sikkim.
3. Main type of occupation of Sikkim is Agriculture. They have elivative type of geographical situation due to which they have agriculture as occupation. Though many professional jobs are also available there.
4. The major sector of income of Sikkim is occupied by Agriculture (Terrace Farming) and tourism.
5. The agricultural sector of Sikkim produced various types of products such as Cardamom, Millet, Tea etc.
6. The people of Sikkim wear warm clothes which help them to survive in the harsh cold winters. The whether gets warmer as we go down in altitude and vice versa.

so I think that instead of making the environment dirty if we can keep it clean and if we can conserve the environment and make alert about the same then I don't think people are going to get troubled .
