Respected Sir,

I am a citizen of Gandhi Nagar and I wanted to address a serious issue that is lack of hygiene and poor sanitation in Gandhi Nagar.

Especially during the time of the world wide pandemic, it is extremely important to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings. But  I am extremely despondent to let you know that cleanliness is not being maintained. The trash is not being discarded properly by the municipality. As the rainy season has commenced lack of hygiene and sanitisation could lead to the spread of various infectious diseases like malaria and dengue. This would be a serious problem to deal with while fighting against Covid-19.

I suggest that the municipal waste disposer trucks should be functional again and that virtual campaigns and advertisements can be initiated by the government letting people know that keeping the surroundings clean is as important as keeping ourselves clean.

I hope my concern would be taken into consideration and that an action would be against this issue would be taken as fast as possible.
