You and your production team follow all of the SOP’s (Standard operating procedures) while producing the beverage. An SOP is a step-by-step series of instructions compiled by an company to assist staff in executing complex routine procedures. SOPs are intended to ensure efficiency, consistency and performance uniformity and at the same time to reduce miscommunications and inability to follow industry regulations.

Explanation:

A reliable enterprise is characterized by well recorded Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs). Consistent, well-established processes can improve the quality of your product, reduce turnover costs , minimise product & safety liability and enhance your brand. Simply having SOPs is not enough. While a leader in industry, you must ensure that your staff is completely aware of and compliant with the procedures. Here are few ideas to make sure the team is on board:

Steps to Encourage Adherence to SOPs

  1. SOP training  means more than simply reading out the procedures. Well-designed adult learning programming provides hands-on opportunity for staff to use the recorded method and interactivity to answer their concerns in order to make sure they know what is expected of them.
  2. Posters, laminated posters and other techniques on the spot ensure that the workers can read SOPs quickly. Intranets or extranets of companies are also ways of ensure that they live in the standard operating processes. Employees will remember and follow the protocols most often if they are in sight.
  3. Introduce SOPs into the review process of employees. If you evaluate people on the basis of their use, they would be more likely to use them. Ensure the workers understand how the key output metrics, such as zero errors, tie to the use of your process documentation.
  4. Since requirements and needs often change, you will want your SOP documentation to be regularly updated and redistributed. While printing and updating procedure documents frequently can be tedious, it does provide the workers with the ability to remind and make SOPs more noticeable.
