Sir,
It is highly disheartening to see a high number of beggars on the streets in my city as well as in various cities, at the times when India is a developing country. The contribution of youth and citizens of the country is required in the development of the nation, rather than in begging. Children who are future of the country, are seen begging on streets wasting their time.
The begging on the streets is also known to be associated with illegal people, which makes the rescue of beggars difficult. There needs to be a strict policy against begging.
Straight inhibition won't work unless the root cause is solved, which points to unemployment. The country needs to work in the proper direction to curb the evil named begging in society. Hope this letter awakens the authorities as well as the public to take measures against the issue.

Respected Sir,
Hope that you are doing well. I would like to bring your attention to the increase in the number of beggars in our area of Bathinda. It has been noticed since last couple of months, there are now more beggars in streets than before. Also they occupy the barren land where they put up a tent for living.
Begging is not a commendable practice and it should be discouraged. Kindly look into this concern, its not good for our area, the security of the area would also be under concern.
