suppose you drop a die at random on the rectangular region having a length 3 m and breath 2 metre. what is the probability that it will land inside the circle which is inside the rectangular region having diameter 1m.

Here's your answer !!

Probability = Area of circle / Area of rectangle

Area of circle = 22 / 7 * (1/2)²

= 22 / 7 * 1 / 4

= 22 / 28 m

Area of rectangle = 2 * 3 = 6 m

So probability = 22/28 / 6

= 22 / 28 * 6

= 22 / 168

= 11 / 84
