If I got an opportunity to get back to history then I would choose to go to the time line of which the great Pyramids of Giza were built.
Explanation:
The pyramids of Giza are one among the seven wonders of the modern world.
They were also held in the list of Old Seven Wonders of the World and the only oldest wonder.
There are tones of mysteries orbiting around the Great Pyramids. If I travel back to that timeline I could possibly get a chance to see those mysteries.
There is another important reason why I have chosen the Pyramid timeline which is to see how those three pyramids would look like in their earlier stage.
There are some alien conspiracies revolving around the pyramids. So, it would be the first reason for my choice.

The 18th century poetries still inspire us to bits. This was also considered to be the age of enlightenment where poets revolted against depopulation of the countryside and increasing numbers of overcrowded industrial cities.
The poets with enriched political thinking emerged in that period and if I could go back there, some of their genius might rub off on me.
