Suppose you had a farm in a drought stricken area, what crops would you grow and how?

I wouldn't probably grow rice crop- cause it takes much water but I would grow a crop which is more suitable in that region eg wheat probably don't take much water and how I would go buy up some sprinkler cause I need to save up the water and as well as grow my crops so I would do the following.
