Answer:

Let the time be 1 year.

For r=12%

A=P+(

100

P×r×t

)

A=12000+(

100

12000×12×1

)

⟹A=Rs.13,440

Let Rs.x be invested with 12% rate.

Then,

12000=[x+(

100

x×10×1

)]+[(12000−x)+(

100

(12000−x)×15×1

)]

Solving for x we get,

x=7,200

⟹12000−7200=4,800

Hence,Rs.7200 is invested at rate 10% and Rs.4,800 at rate 15%.
