Suppose you have two glass prisms. One was made of ordinary glass and other one is with flint glass (Given that refractive index of flint glass is more than that of ordinary glass). What conclusion can be drawn about bending of light for the given angle of incidence by you after tracing the path of ray of light through both the prism?

A
The two prisms should be arranged such that the dispersion produced by one prism is cancelled by the second prism. This way is called as the direct vision prism. The dispersion of the crown glass prism is less than the flint glass prism.
So, the flint glass prism of smaller angle will be suitable with a crown glass prism of larger angle.

B
To disperse without any deviation, the flint glass prism of greater angle close to each other in opposite directions is required so that the deviation is equal and opposite. So, in final combination the flint glass prism will have smaller angle than crown glass prism because of their refractive indies.
