Given  :   a dozen J. Co doughnuts  to be bought  and there are 28 different flavors available.

To Find : How many options   if repetition is allowed

Solution:

Flavors available = 28

To be selected  =  12

options   if repetition is allowed   =   ²⁸⁺¹²⁻¹C₁₂

= ³⁹C₁₂

if repetition is  not  allowed :   ²⁸C₁₂
