suppose your are a geneicist trying to devalop a sunflower with redpetals and a short stem. as you compare the sunflowers you have on your hand. what genetic variations would you look for? what kinds of plants would you select for crossing?

depends on what kind of sunflowers I would have.. I can look at the chances of me having more sunflowers being short stemmed, red, and both traits.

Those that have dominant(gene's) alleles for red petals( RR,Rr)। and sort stem (SS,Ss) . I would select plants with red petals and shorter for crossing.
