Suraj and Siddharth each wanted to make a terrarium. Suraj went to a nursery 30 km away from his house whereas Siddharth went to another nursery which is 12 km away from his house. Suraj took 1.2 hours and Siddharth took 1 hour for their journey redpectively. Calculate the average speed of both Suraj and Siddharth. On a common graph paper, plot the distance-time graphs for both Suraj and Siddharth. Find the slope of each graph and draw the inference about their average speed.

average speed=Total distance/Total time
Suraj average speed=30 km/1.2 hr
o.o4 km/hr
siddarth average speed=12 km/1 hr
12 km/hr

Given:
For Suraj:
Distance travelled =30km
time=1.2h
Average Diatance=Total Distance/ Total Time
=30/1.2=25km/h

For Siddarath:
Distance =12km
time=1h
So average Speed=12/1=12km/h

Distance covered by suraj in 10min:
=Average speedx time=25x 10/60=4.16km

Similarly we can calculate for differnt time like 20min,30 min for suraj and siddharth.
Using the data , we can plot the graph .Please refer the attachment :
