Kiran has to apply a larger force than Suraj.

Because,

In this situation both Kiran and Suraj are accomplishing works by applying some of force while pushing those boxes.

Now,let the force that suraj is applying is F1 and the force that Kiran is applying is F2.

Let,the mass of the box that suraj is pushing is M1 and the mass of the box that Kiran is pushing is M2.

(now, M2 > M1)

And,assume in both cases the acceleration will be A.

So, According to the second law of Newton.

Force = Mass × Acceleration

Now,the Acceleration for both Suraj and Kiran are almost identical.

But,the mass is greater for Kiran.

So,the multiplication value of net force will be aslo greater for the Kiran.

That's why Kiran has to apply a greater force.
