First we have to find number of i-phone and i-pad bought.

Number of i-phone bought = 5 (2 iphones sold and 3 unsold)

Number if i-pad bought = 20 (25-5)

Profit on i-phones = 4000 (2 x 2000)

Profit on i-pads = 45000 (49000-4000)

Number of ipads sold = 15 (75% x 20)

Profit on one i-pad = 3000 (45000/15)

Cost of one i-pad= 15000 ( 3000/20%)

Sale price of one i-pad = 18000 (15000+3000)

Cost of one i-phone = 7500 (15000x50%)

Sale price of onei-phone = 9500 (7500+2000)

Total cost incurred = 337500 [(7500x5)+(15000x20)]

Total amount received=289000 [(18000x15)+(9500x2)]

Total loss = 48500 (337500-289000)
