Suresh and Naresh are partners in a firm in the profit-sharing ratio of 3 : 4.
They make Mahesh a new partner. Suresh and Naresh give from their share
1/7 and 1/14 respectively to Mahesh. Find out new profit-sharing ratio.​

Given - Old Ratio 3:4

Suresh surrenders 1/7

Naresh surrenders 1/14

Suresh's ratio = 3/7 - 1/7 = 2/7

Naresh's ratio = 4/7 - 1/14 = 7/14

Mahesh ratio = 1/7 + 1/14 = 3/14

i.e 2/7 : 7/14 : 3/14

New PSR is 4 : 7 : 3
