Firstly, add two and half kg and three and half kg..
The sum would be 6 kg
Now according to the question
1 kg=₹32 then
6 kg would be 32*6= ₹192

Step-by-step explanation:

cost of 1 kg sugar = 32

Weight of sugar Suresh bought = 2 and half kg.

And,

Weight of sugar Ashish bought = 3 and half kg.

Total weight of sugar

= (2 and half kg) + (3 and half kg)

= (5 and 1) kg

* two half kg makes one full kg

= 6 kg.

We know 1 kg cost 32.

Cost of 6 kg sugar = 32 × 6

= 192

You don't even need to find the cost of half kg.

That how the question was set.
