Answer:

Present age of Mr Ramesh and his son,

Mr Ramesh =4×Son

After 10 years their ages will be,

Ramesh + 10 = 2(Son +10)

Replace Ramesh with 4 x Son

4xSon +10=2 xSon +20

Collect like terms

4 x Son − 2 x Son =20−10

2xSon =10

Son =5

Mr Ramesh's son is 5 years old.

Answer:

26 years

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the age of Suresh be x

Ramesh= (x-2)

Suresh Father= 2x

Ramesh younger brother= (x-2)/2

According to the Question-

2x -  (x-2)/2 =40

4x-x+2/2 =40

3x+2=80

3x=78

x= 26 years

Thus the age of Suresh is 26 years

Hope you understood!
