⇛ Age of Suresh = Age of Amrita + 3
⇛ y = x + 3 -------equation (1)
According to condition-2)
⇛ Age of Suresh 6 years ago = 4(Age of Amrita six years ago)
- Age of Suresh 6 years ago = y - 6
- Age of Amrita 6 years ago = x - 6
Then,
⇛ y - 6 = 4(x - 6)
⇛ y - 6 = 4x - 24
⇛ y = 4x - 24 + 6
⇛ y = 4x - 18 -------equation (2)
Now we will see equation (1), y = x + 3 and in equation (2), y = 4x - 18. So we can say that,

⇛ x - 4x = -18 - 3
