Black surface absorbs more heat than any other surface under identical conditions.

A black body absorbs all wavelengths of light and does not reflect any of the light.

There is no body which acts as a total absorber of light. But lamp black is considered similar to the perfectly black body and thus lamp black is used in many experiments to see the absorption of heat and different wavelengths of light on black body surface.

Thus it is more prefarable to wear white or light coloured clothes in summer rather than wearing dark coloured clothes which acts as a heat absorber.

Hope it helps u!!!
