Given:

  • TSA of Cube = 384 cm²

To Find:

Side of the cube = ?

Method:

TSA of cube = 6a²

➜ 384 = 6a²

➜ a² = 384 ÷ 6

➜ a² = 64

➜ a = √64

➜ a = ± 8

Side of a cube cannot be negative.

So, Side = 8 cm

Additional Information:

\mapsto \sf{\large{Lateral \: Surface \: Area\: of\: cube= 4a^{2} }}

\\\\\mapsto \sf{\large{Volume \: of \: cube = a^{3} }}

Lateral Surface Area is the sum of areas of all sides excluding Base and Height.

Total Surface Area is the sum of all areas of all sides including Base and Height.
