Pressure exerted by atmosphere, P= 4S/r,

where S= surface tension and r= radius = 10mm/2 = 5mm= 5×10⁻³m

Given surface tension S= 0.04 N/m

So pressure P= (4×0.04)/ (5×10⁻³)

                       = 32 Pa
