s.i. formula

2500×12×5/100×2 =750
(plz calculate yourself)

2500+750=3250

3250-3000=250rs

SURENDER HAS LEFT 250 RS IN HIS POCKET

Given:

Surrender deposited Rs 2500 in a bank at 12% interest pee annum.

He withdraw his money after 5/2 years

To Find:

Out of this amount , he buys an almirah for Rs 3000. How much money is left with him?

Solution:

Formula :

SI=\frac{P \times T \times R}{100}

Where SI = Simple interest

P = Principal= 2500

T = time=5/2 years

R = rate of interest =12%

SI=\frac{2500 \times 12 \times 5}{200}

SI=750

Amount = Principal+Simple interest = 2500+750=3250

He buys an Almirah for amount = Rs.3000

Amount left = 3250-3000=250

Hence He left with Rs.250
