Child labour is a global issue that prevents children from fulfilling their potential. Not all work done by children is classed as child labour

Answer:

The number of child labourers surveyed by the Indian Census is 11.8 million for ages 5 to 17, which is smaller than our point estimate but lies within the 95% PI. The Indian Census figure of main workers for ages 5 to 14 (4.35 million) is larger than the forecast number of child labourers and lies outside the 95%
