The major issues of elementary education are:
1. Lack of teachers.
2. Teachers do not use any teaching aids to enhance learning.
3. Teachers are not trained suitably.
4. The classrooms do not have sufficient furniture. Three or four students have to share the same bench. Some of them even sit on the floor.
5. There is no blackboard.
6. The students are from poorer sections of society so the fees and indirect school related costs like uniform, books and study materials, transport are very high for them.
7. There is no systematic administration.
8. They are unable to function properly due to insufficient funds and lack of community participation.

The solution to this problem is:
- Part Time Education:
There should be an introduction to part-time education so that the children can work as well as study and for this, the attendance should be voluntary so that they are not confined to getting the classes and can be flexible in taking the courses.
- Finance:
The deficiency of enough funds keep the children from getting the education, for this, the state government should increase the amounts of fund its provide to the children and make sure that no one is deprived of the education.
The problem of girls not getting the education is the biggest problem and needs to be tackled. For that following measures should be taken.
- Appointing ladies educators;
- Popularizing blended primary schools;
- Opening separate schools for young ladies at the higher essential stage;
- Providing free books and composting materials;
- Providing low maintenance instruction for young ladies in the age-group 11 – 14.
- Providing separate educational program for young ladies, and
- Providing appropriate comforts for young ladies in schools.
