Answer:

Accuracy in the measurement of the field if done using the prepared map will be accurate to 100mm or 10 cm.

Explanation:

This question is more based on the Conceptual than the calculations.

When the least count of measurement is 1cm, We say the measurement is accurate till 1 cm.

Here, Given The Scale being used is 1: 1000.

It means that 1 meter would simply be a 1 Millimetre metre on the map.

In the same same way, We need to find a measurement which would be 0.1mm on the map.

1 unit - - - - - - - - - - > 1000 units

0. 1 mm - - - - - - - - - > x mm

By cross multiplying we get,

x = 1000 * 0. 1 mm = 100 mm = 10 cm

So, 100 mm in real would be 0.1 mm on the map.

Do any think anything less than 0.1 mm on the map isn't accurate? So in reality, anything less than 100 mm is inaccurate.

So accuracy in the measurement of the field if done using the prepared map will be accurate to 100mm or 10 cm.
