'The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.' In these words sounds the warning that our Father of Nation prophesied. The depleting number of tigers, vanishing preys and loss of their habitat have come at an alarming extent today. Thoughtless felling of trees, poaching for trade and ignorance of masses have brought many species at the verge of extinction. If we want to maintain the ecological balance, the forests and animals should be protected. The entire food chain would be disturbed if any one element goes missing. So, we must ensure that our country doesn't lose its forests and treasure of wildlife. The future of humankind depends directly on them. Many NGOs and government are working in this direction and it becomes moral obligation of each individual to do his bit.
