surya had 1 orange. He gave 1/4 of the orange to his brother and ate 1/2 of the orange himself.How much of the orange is remaining now?

he had = 1orange

he gave = 1/4

he ate = 1/2

totally eaten = 1/4+1/2=3/4

remaining = 1-3/4

1/4 part of orange is remaining
