Susan had 64 toffees and George had 48 toffees. If each of them gave Tom of their toffees,1by 8 by how
many did Tom get?

Answer:

Susan gave 1/8 of 64=8 toffees

George gave 1/8 of 48 = 6 toffees

total toffees Tom got = 8+6

= 14 toffees
