Sushant has a vessel of the form of an inverted cone open at the top of height 11 cm and radius of top as 2.5 cm and is full of water metallic spherical balls each of diameter 0.5 CM are put in the vessel due to which two fifth of water is flows. Find out how many balls were put in the vessel. Sushant made the arrangement so that the water that flows out would irrigate the flower beds. What value has been shown by sushant?

Answer:

440

Step-by-step explanation:

let n be the number of balls

CONE :  H= 11cm R= 2.5cm

SPHERICAL BALLS : R= 0.5/2

volume of the no. of balls = amt of water which flows (2/5 * volume of the cone)

n*4/3*0.5/2*0.5/2*0.5/2*22/7= 2/5*1/3*22/7*2.5*2.5*11

solving it we get n=440

HENCE THE NUMBER OF BALLS PUT INTO THE SPHERICAL VESSEL = 440

hope it helps !!!
