Sushil, Alex and Peter share some sweets in the ratio 3:2:5. Sushil gets 24 sweets. How many sweets are there altogether?

let us assume that

sushil gets 3x sweets

Alex gets 2x sweets

and peter gets 5x sweets

now, according to the question

sushil gets 24 sweets

i.e, 3x=24

x=8

hence ,Alex gets 2*8=16 sweets

&peter gets5*8=40sweets

total no. of sweets=40+16+24=80
