then....according to the question

x-6 = 3(y-6)
x-3y = -12 _a

also it is given that
x+6 = 5/3 (y+6)
3x-5y= 12 _b

multiply equation a by 3 and subtract b

this gives 4y = 48
y= 12

now using equation a
x= -12+36
x=24

sushilas age = 24 and snehas age = 12
