sushma bought a saree from the mall.she paid 2640 for it. when she came home she measured the length of the saree and found that the satee was half metre less in length than what the shopkeeper had told her. she found that she is at a loss of 220 because of this.what is the length of the saree sje brought home.​

length of saree less= 1/2 metre.

she was at loss of= ₹220

cost of half metre saree= ₹220

cost of one metre saree= ₹440

length of saree= 2640/440

=6 metres

saree was to be 6 metre long while it was five and half metres.
