Sushma brought a saree from the mall. She paid 2640 for it. When she came home she measured the length of the saree and found that the saree was half meter less in length than what the shopkeeper had told her. She found that she is at a loss of 220 because of this. What is the length of the saree she bought home ?

according to question cost of half meter of saree is 220
therefore cost of 1.m of saree = 440
length of saree =actual cost of saree/cost of 1m
= (2640–220)/440
=2420/440
=5.5m
