P = ₹5000
R =11%
T = 1year
Therefore S.I = ₹(5000×11×1)/100
= ₹ 55000/100
= ₹ 550
Total no. of scholarships given= 10
Value of each scholarship = ₹ 550/10 = ₹55

vikash2012vk: okk report my answer
toharini: Like P is actually 400000, R is 10 percent and total number of scholarships is 5

Answer: rs 8000 per student per year

Step-by-step explanation:

Principal= RS 400000

Rate= 10 percent

Time = 1 year

Interest is principal×rate×time/100

Interest is 400000×10×1/100

Interest= RS 40000

As there are 5 students, each student will get 40000/5= rs 8000 per year.
