Sushma is now 15 years older than Vijay but in 3 more years she will be 8 times as old as Vijay was 3 years ago. how old are they now?

Let the present age of vijay = x.

Then age of Sushma will be (x+15)

Given. (x+15) + 3 = 8(x-3)

             8x-x = 18+24

                7x = 42

                    x = 6.

Sushma age will be 6 + 15 = 21.

Vijay age is 6 and Sushma age is 21.
